Who Sang It Best: Poker Face...

It doesn't sound like Christopher Walken used his usual line reading technique of removing all of the punctuation while doing his dramatic reading of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" lyrics on the BBC last week, but it's still pretty amazing:

But Entertainment Weekly poses the Question of the Week in asking if Walken's version is better or worse than Eric Cartman's from last week's South Park episode:

And all I can say is that I had managed to go months without getting that stupid song stuck in my head...until Cartman's version.

I guess I'll have to go with his because his had the beat behind it, and that's what really made it catchy. At a certain point, backed only by chuckles from a studio audience, Walken kind of sounds like he's having a slightly unsettling sexual experience.

But I just have to pose this separate, and more important!, question: who decided this song could make a comeback in pop culture anyway!?! Like Dr. Dre said, a fad is supposed to be "something that we already had, but once you're gone you don't come back; too bad!"
