It Will Be Raining Men At Creation Ent's LA "Salute To Supernatural" Convention...

Every year Creation Entertainment throws celebrity-based show conventions across the country (and Canada!) for a few very special, very devout fandoms. In the past they have worked on ones for Star Trek, Xena, and Battlestar Gallactica but these days their biggest hits are Twilight and Supernatural. Of course the latter caught my attention, and two years ago I was privileged enough to attend and cover the 2008 LA convention as a member of the press. And this year, assuming it would be the final year for the show and therefore the convention, I of course signed up right away to take part again.

Creation's "Salute To Supernatural" 2010 is making its Los Angeles stop at the LAX Marriott from March 26 through March 28. This year they are boasting the same fan favorites everyone has come to know and love: a Friday night karaoke mingling party for the fans, followed by two days of question & answer, autograph, and photo sessions with the stars. On Sunday, there is even a very special VIP breakfast available featuring the show's two biggest stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.

Creation Entertainment works independently of the network and production company to sign talent to their events. This year they have been fortunate enough to get not only the Winchester Brothers but pretty much every favorite male character! Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver), Castiel (Misha Collins), The Ghostfacer Team (AJ Buckley and Travis Wester), The Trickster (Richard Speight Jr), and long-lost baby Winchester bro (Jake Abel). And with two more months to the convention, they are still working on getting many more. Let's hope one of those additional attendees includes Chuck The Prophet (Rob Benedict). It will be raining men, and this loyal fan is certainly more than looking forward to it!!

Passes to the convention vary from about $50 (for single day passes) to over $500 for the Weekend Gold Pass (which is now sold out but which includes an autograph ticket for every celeb in attendance, assigned ballroom seating, and a special piece of merchandise). Tickets are on sale on Creation's website now but are selling out quickly so be sure to order yours now and keep checking their website for updates to which actors will be making appearances.

*Check back here at the end of March for "My Life, Made Possible By Pop Culture'"s full, in depth, coverage of this convention!
