Last night the Critics Choice Awards were held in the teeny tiny theater that is the Palladium in Hollywood (hey, it's historic, so celebs were willing to sit on top of each other (on camera) for a night!) Equally teeny tiny (I heard another critic refer to her as 'Tinkerbell' last night) Kristin Chenoweth hosted, still hot off her appearance on Glee, and of course opened the show in song.
Okay, so maybe she didn't so much rock the awards as she did pierce their ears with high notes usually found only on operatic stages...
Just seconds before showing off her vocal chops, though, she gave a speech to the critics that I thought was worthy of repeating. ...Unfortunately I don't have a DVR and my tape recorder was not handy. By the time I ran into my bedroom to retrieve it, Quentin Tarrantino was on-screen, doing his best to ruin it.
So if anyone out there has a transcript, please send the opening few minutes my way :)
