The Glee Kids Take The Gibson Stage...

I am spending my life at the Gibson Amphitheatre in the second biggest tourist trap in Los Angeles! Back in November I saw Kathy Griffin perform her hilarious stand-up there on Black Friday; The It's Always Sunny gang did their live "Nightman Cometh" for Haiti there; just last week I saw Mariah Carey on her Angels Advocate tour stop there; in April Chelsea Handler will be bringing her "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang Tour" to the theatre...and this morning I learned that Glee: Live in Concert! will be performing not one, but two, shows at the Gibson in May!

Yes, that's right, the cast of glee will be bringing their acclaimed musical numbers, like "Don't Stop Believin," "Jump," "Somebody to Love" and Mark Salling's solo "Sweet Caroline" to a stage near you! And the stage near me just happens to be the Gibson. I might as well move into the Universal City Hilton now, like I always hoped I'd one day be able to do, and live out my dreams of being a real life Eloise within walking distance to the theatre that is housing so many of my favorite performers.

The glee kids will also be taking their tour to New York, Chicago, and Phoenix. They begin on May 18 in Phoenix (tickets on sale for that show starting this Friday, March 5), and come next to LA on May 20 and 21. American Express is offering special pre-sale ops for card members, and Twentieth Century Fox has put together very special VIP, fan packages that include premium seats and an after party. Tickets start at the very affordable $39.50 and range to about $89.50. I will be going to at least one of the LA shows, so hope to see you all there!!
