Win A 'Lonestar' Swag Kit!...

On September 20th, Fox will premiere it's newest drama, Lonestar, about a young guy leading a double life. James Wolk is the lead Robert/Bob Allen, a con man swindling hard working Americans out of their savings and falling in love with two separate women. It is one part suspense drama as some around him begin to question his motives, but it is also one part family soap opera, as he struggles to fit into two worlds when all he really needs is to find his true self.

Lonestar features an all-star cast also including Eloise Mumford, Adrianne Palicki, Bryan Johnson, David Keith, Mark Deklin, the newly announced Rosa Blasi, and of course, Jon Voight. You can stay tuned to my Examiner page to read an advance review of the pilot, but if you're already excited about this series and want to win a cool swag kit, here's how you can!

Leave a note in the section below about a lie (big or small) you have told-- or wish you told-- either to try to advance your career or win the heart of a crush. I will be drawing a name at random from the comments section to win the swag kit on September 13th, leaving enough time to receive the items by the premiere so you can have your own little premiere party! Make sure you leave an email address or Twitter ID or something so I can get in touch with you if you win!

The items in the swag kit include a black Lonestar tee-shirt (size large), a Lonestar keychain, two posters (one featuring the Wolk/Palicki pairing and one featuring Wolk/Mumford so you can pick your favorite couple and start 'shipping' now!), and a FOX multi-colored ink pen.

I feel so boring, but I can't think of a lie--I have the worst poker face. I always smile or otherwise give myself away when I try to lie or play a prank. No way I could ever successfully lead a double-life like the Lonestar guy!

I tend to not lie in real life the way James Wolk's character does but sometimes I wish I could lie on my resume to make myself more impressive if I'm applying for a job I really want. I would feel way too guilty though, so I never do!

Hmm, a lie that I've told, this is going to be hard.

There was the time I dressed up as an elderly woman & convinced a guy that I was "Me" from the future & the only way to save the world was to sleep with me..

There was the time I told a guy I was my evil twin just so I could get with him again...

There was that time I told that guy I invented google...

There was that time I told someone I only had 12 hours to live...

Oh and then there was that time that I lied about lying and used several of Barney Stinson's methods as my own just to win a free t-shirt.

Yes that's right: each lie you see here formulated by @ShepherdsTV was in fact Made Possible by Pop Culture! :)
