Be Still My FanGirl Heart: A 'Troop Beverly Hills/Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead' Double Screening is Coming to LA!...

This time last year I was hardcore fangirling out to Erika Adickman's Troop Beverly Hills: The Experience at Cinespace in Hollywood. A night of homemade Girls Scout cookies, cake pops, a Q&A with movie talent, and a pop-up quote-a-long version of one of my favorite films from childhood? It was like Adickman had been reading my diary!
Well, it just gets better from there. This year, Adickman has stepped it up a notch with a double feature of
Troop Beverly Hills and Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead.

On November 13th at the Downtown Independent Theatre, she will screen both films, with Q&A panels of talent from both films as well. Last year
Troop Beverly Hills director Jeff Kanew took the stage, alongside the film's writers, costume designer, and songwriter. One of the Wilderness girls even made a very special surprise guest appearance. Who will show up this year? While Adickman is still working on the booking, she has confirmed exclusively to My Life, Made Possible by Pop Culture that one very special guest will be Keith Coogan who played stoner-turned-chef Kenny in the latter film, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead.

Oh, I am so there!

Last year, I made a homemade Girls Scout sash with personalized patches to wear to the screening. This year I'm thinking of some sort of stylish version of the classic Clown Dog wedge cap. What do you guys think?

And better yet, who's going to join me??
