As I was thrilled to announce last week, the non-profit group I co-run in Los Angeles has released ticket options for our upcoming Conversation Series event featuring Life Unexpected's Liz Tigelaar, Shiri Appleby, and Kristoffer Polaha. And if you're not local to Southern California and can't make the trip out west, we even have ways for you to still get involved!
Introducing the Conversation Series "Miles Adrift" option: a package of goodies for out of state and overseas fans who want to feel like they're apart of the event, and give to a good cause, showing up in spirit instead of physicality! IBG has two Miles Adrift options for the December 11th hour-long Q&A event: option one includes the chance to submit a question for the panel, a copy of the event program, a copy of the official event photo, and an IBG bracelet. Option two is all of the above plus a copy of the DVD.*
*DVDs of the "Conversation With Life Unexpected" will be produced in December 2010. No shipping date is available at this time.
Proceeds from all ticket options (and DVD sales) for this event will be going to Boys and Girls Aid in Portland, in a joint venture with Give Me My Remote to shed some light on the cause.
Boys & Girls Aid is the oldest child welfare agency in the state. The agency has been working to impact the lives of children in need by providing safe housing, positive relationships with caring adults, and tools to learn and grow since 1885. In addition to foster care, the agency provides adoption services and temporary safe housing for youth in need.
And if you do want to attend the event in person, be sure to reserve your tickets now, as seating is limited to keep the "intimate" feel of the event series.
