30 Days of Christmas: 'Community'...

"Sensible night; appropriate night; snow on ground; left and right; round yon purchase of decorative things; tolerant rewrite of carols to sing! Function with relative ease; function with relative ease!"

While this year the gang at Greendale Community College are taking animated form and singing carols and causing mayhem, last year they...well, they were singing versions of carols and causing mayhem!

In the first season of
Community on NBC, it was a winter wonderland at Greendale, where non-denominational holidays were all the rage. Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) was determined to have a peaceful holiday with her school family, though each one of them did what they could (unintentionally or not) to thwart that. Jeff (Joel McHale) was especially a thorn in her side when he was challenged to a fight in the parking lot after school. That is so un-Christmas spirit-like! But also so hilarious.

The best part of the episode? Not the beating on each other with giant plastic candy canes or even the argument over cookies that started it all, but instead Shirley's original Christmas carol: "Sensitive Night!"
