30 Days of Christmas: 'Full House'...

Continuing the team of family holiday extravaganzas (which I guess I started yesterday, even if that family was slightly…off, to say the least), today I bring you a classic gem in Full House. Season 2 brought the aptly titled “Our Very First Christmas Show” in which the entire extended Tanner family get stranded at the airport on their way out of town for the holidays. Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) is worried that Santa won’t be able to find them since they’re not home. But thanks to a little magic—or a close family friend (Dave Coulier)—they get to celebrate a non-traditional but still pretty festive Christmas evening.

Then in season 6 there is “A Very Tanner Christmas”. Slightly older but not much more mature, Stephanie and Michelle (Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen) craft creatively long wish lists. They may not have the real spirit of the holiday season in their hearts, but neither do the rest of their family, as various members mope for various reasons. But of course in the end they all come together to celebrate and be thankful for what they do have: each other.
