How I Met Your Mother seems to be prepping Jason Segel for a Supporting Actor in a Comedy Emmy, but unfortunately the way they are doing so is by giving him a surprisingly heavily dramatic story line, and comedy actors can’t (or at least shouldn’t) win for anything but comedy in a comedy category! Why are you burying the return of Chuck, NBC? The spy series returns tonight after an uber-long holiday hiatus, but unless you’re a diehard fan who programmed the date into your iCals or Blackberries or whatever, you could accidentally miss it. NBC hadn’t released a promo until last night, during the Golden Globes when we got a glimpse of Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski)’s new look. The last time LA TV Insider Examiner had a chance to chat with Days of our LivesEric Martsolf, he expressed his interest in allowing his character of once-squeaky-clean-hero Brady Black to go a bit more darkside.
