"ABC unveils its fall 2011 primetime schedule"
The alphabet network axed seven shows last week and picked up twelve, and we don’t know about you, but we spent the weekend moving those shows around in our heads, trying to figure out where they would all fit (and where they stood the best chance up against known powerhouse programming on other networks). "Raising Hope flashes back five years to end its first one on FOX"
Flashbacks are all the rage on sitcoms these days and not to be outdone, Raising Hope has set its first season finale almost entirely in one. “Don’t Vote For This Episode” heads back five years when Jimmy (Lucas Neff) was turning a surly eighteen, MawMaw (Cloris Leachman) was not yet senile, and Virginia (Martha Plimpton) and Burt (Garret Dillahunt) were challenged to move out and finally take care of their family on their own. Of course that means that baby Hope wasn’t even a twinkle in Jimmy-- err, Drakaar Noir’s eye yet... [MORE]
