Live From Los Angeles, It Was The First Live Show For 'The Voice!'

Last night I attended the first ever live taping of The Voice, when Team Christina and Team Blake took the stage to single solos (and one memorable group number each) for America to decide who deserved to advance to the semi-finals round. These are my stories (and video interviews!)...

The Voice may have already aired its first-ever live version, but even if you happened to miss it (though, shame on you if you did!), you can still have your voices heard (no pun intended) and your votes counted. The 855 lines for the contestants will be open all week (until 10am local time on Monday the 13th), as will voting via iTunes downloads. The theme of the first live show for The Voice was certainly “save me,” in that the game was so elevated that no one was safe, and fans and viewers would have to double time it to ensure their favorites got another shot at the stage and the title. But over on Team Blake, the theme was also all fun. Fun with the music, fun with each other, and fun at the other coaches’ expense. Or at least one in particular... [MORE]
