Wilson Bethel is virtually unrecognizable from his Hart of Dixie character of free-spirited, “I do whatever I want and love it as I do” Wade Kinsella when you meet him in person. His hair is shorter; he is clean-shaven, and on the night we met, at the CBS/SHO/CW TCA party in Los Angeles, he was wearing a fedora and horn-rimmed glasses instead of plaid. Seeing him from afar, across a crowded and dark pagoda, we weren’t entirely sure it was even him (to be fair, we weren’t wearing our glasses), but the minute he smiled it was clear.
