Days of our Lives is undergoing some major changes. They may be bringing back some familiar faces of the past, but they are introducing a whole new hang-out for the old faves and the new alike. Horton Town Square has been permanently installed in Salem-- and in Stages 2 and 4 on the Burbank NBC Studio lot-- and will be unveiled, with a very special tree dedication and cake-cutting ceremony next month. I got a chance to check it out a bit early, though, during a set visit to the soap opera.
And while I came away with a bunch of great spoilers on what's to come for characters like John, Marlena, Sonny, Austin, Madison, Jack and Jennifer, and more, I also came away with a great shopping bag full of merchandise from the brand new shopping center. Well, sort of.
Included in the Horton Town Square reusable tote are a copy of "Days of our Lives: 45 Years, A Celebration In Photos," a copy of Deidre Hall's "Kitchen Close Up," a white logo tee shirt (size medium), and a notepad.
