From LA Examiner: 'Chuck' New Cast Photos; Eric Winter Books A New Gig; Preview 'Up All Night', 'Free Agents', 'Castle's' Return;'Supernatural' Photos

"Photo Gallery: The sexy spies of Chuck"

The cast and crew of Chuck have been hard at work shooting their fifth and final season in L.A.-- a season that has been kept pretty tightly underwraps so far. But tonight NBC has released a few promotional photos of the gang looking oh, so snazzy, and Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) himself clearly embracing the smooth, suave, and sophisticated lifestyle of the wealthy businessman he is now... "Eric Winter heading to Good Christian Belles"

It's been a big few months for Eric Winter! At a time when many actors like to actually enjoy a summer off, vacation with loved ones, travel and see the world, throw lavish parties with friends, this particular one got pregnant (well, his wife Roselyn Sanchez is technically the one having the baby, but still) and got a new gig... "Fall 2011 Preview: NBC's Up All Night"

You can’t have it all these days, but the characters of NBC's newest comedy Up All Night sure as s*** are trying! For Chris (Will Arnett) and Reagan (Christina Applegate), the young, ambitious couple who learn they are pregnant in the teaser to the pilot, it is certainly a fish-out-of-water scenario. They are well outside their comfort zone when they get pregnant, and things don't really change all that much in the months we fast-forward through to see them with the baby. But Up All Night is about so much more than just the pitfalls of parenting; it is about how these two very specific individuals deal with change in general. Both are somewhat reluctant to give up the life they know and love-- a life they were perhaps just starting to fully enjoy after working so hard to get there. Even if you are not a parent (yet), Up All Night is extremely charming, heartfelt, and of course, funny in its characters ineptitude at adapting... [MORE]

"Fall 2011 Preview: NBC's Free Agents"

We’ll admit it: we severely misjudged Free Agents. Maybe all of the media hype around this fall season's supposed misogyny went to our heads because we bought into the assumption that if we read a summary of a show about work partners who happen to be engaging in no strings sex, we assumed they would both be men. That is not actually the case with Free Agents-- in fact, the work partners are sleeping with each other in this new comedy from NBC-- but unfortunately the gender bias still exists when it comes not only to how the characters handle their "fast, casual" relationship and the "funny" that comes from it... "Castle season four promises role reversals, as well as a regime change"

All right, we’re just going to say it: as much as we love Castle (and we really do love Castle in a way we never expected to), the season three finale felt really, really unfair. Not because Castle (Nathan Fillion) finally came clean about his feelings for Beckett (Stana Katic) and we didn’t get to see what came next because of that damn hiatus but in fact because it happened at a moment when Beckett was shot. He feared he might lose her, and he needed to get something off his chest. Who knows if she’ll even remember…if she even survives? ... [MORE]

"PHOTO PREVIEW: Supernatural's seventh season premiere"

"Meet The Boss" indeed. In Supernatural's season seven premiere, things seem to be all about Castiel (Misha Collins) and the lengths Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will go to to stop him. Including teaming up with Death himself (guest star Julian Richings)... [MORE]
