The Return of the Vodcast!...

Yes, yes, it's been some time since Marisa from and I could coordinate our schedules and sit down together to talk television. At least in front of the camera. You can blame the crazy amount of shows that we've been watching, if you want, but don't you worry, as we've been watching, we've certainly been taking notes and all of that, uh, "research" (?) is certainly coming in handy now that the calendar year is winding down. Finding ourselves with more time off than usual, as many of those shows head into hiatus, we decided it was the perfect time to revisit the shows we've been watching from fall premieres to fall finales.

The first thing we noticed when we sat down to talk about the television we are currently watching is how our opinions today may vary slightly (or a lot, depending on which one of us you ask and which show we are talking about) from our initial assessment of a show in pilot or season premiere form just a few short months ago. So we wanted to explore the ones that have been the greatest surprises. And in the spirit of the holiday season, we selected three series, all which have been pleasant surprises.

Nikita, American Horror Story, and Homeland could not be more different as stories, but they are such a small sliver of the shows "We Have Thoughts" will explore. Stay tuned for the next chapter in our vodcast journey, which includes a fun grading game for a number of both the dramas and comedies that have been on this fall.
