Early Upfronts Notes: NBC Picks Up 'Save Me', 'The New Normal', and 'Revolution'...



It is being reported this morning that NBC has made a decision on the second new pilot the peacock network is ordering to series. Although we have not received direct confirmation from the network as of yet (we will update when that changes), it appears Save Me, the new Anne Heche single-camera comedy series is a go... Earlier today NBC picked up single-camera comedy Save Me as part of their 2012-2013 programming slate, and to get a jump-start on their upfront presentation next week, they have added another series to the roster, though this one was admittedly more of a no-brainer. Though the J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke drama still does not yet have an official title (Revolution is a working title that just might stick), NBC has gone ahead and given it a series order anyway... [MORE]
