Today is a great lesson in the evolution of a story and how news is broken these days. I have so many comments, but I will keep most of them to myself, to act on the side of professionalism. But I must say, with social media being as vast, responsive, and instantaneous as it is, if you give someone a piece of news, you really have to be explicit and say "Don't Tweet this!" if you don't want them to turn around and share it with their friends and followers. And if you don't do that, you have to be ready to respond. The CW did a great job today by not only responding, but adding something else to the story. I have taken notes for the next IBG, Inc. event I am on the verge of announcing, that's for sure!
