From LA Examiner: 'Bunheads' Boy Drama Spoilers; Zachary Levi Talks Nerd HQ 2.0; Previewing 'Political Animals'...

Those growing up in a town called Paradise, California should have it all. But the breathtaking ocean views that so entranced a stranger to the small, sleepy town tend to be just another part of the boring scenery to teenagers who can only see that there is no mall and no movie theater in sight. The particular teenagers (girls and boys) in Bunheads have made ballet their hobby and how they pass the time. But as they hit that ever-important age of fifteen or sixteen and start discovering other interests and passions, let alone being forced by the industry to decide if this is how they want to spend the rest of their lives, ballet may prove to be just what they did because their friends did it and because there was nothing else to do. Last summer, Zachary Levi and The Nerd Machine brought what many fans thought would be a “mini fan convention within the convention” down to San Diego during Comic Con. But those fans may have been underestimating Levi and his TNM partner David Coleman; those guys don’t do anything if they’re not going to do it all-out. The inaugural Nerd HQ brought first chances for fans to play new video games, intimate Conversations for a Cause with some of Levi’s friends and fan favorites, and “the best parties at Comic Con.” Levi walked away from Nerd HQ feeling accomplished and proud and certainly like he was onto something.
