From LA Examiner: Greer Grammer Goes To Church Camp; Steve Byrne Gets His Own Sitcom...

Awkward’s Lissa (Greer Grammer) may have been used for a lot of solely comedic moments on the freshman season of Awkward (come on, hypocrisy is always funny, and what’s more hypocritical than a girl “saving herself” who is so afraid of losing her boyfriend she tells him to use the “backdoor?). Don’t get us wrong, in season two, Lissa is still a source of comedy (and a slap heard ‘round the New Years Eve party), but she is much more than just a pretty, funny face. Stand-up comedian Steve Byrne is the latest funny man to create a vehicle sitcom for himself. Teamed up with Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, and Rob Long, Byrne wrote the pilot script for Sullivan & Son in various diners and hotels while on the road, on a recent stand-up tour.
