The last time my friend Marisa and I brought you a vodcast (within the same week; hell must be freezing over...or television must just be winding down for the summer), we said the next time you saw us would be for fall TV snap judgements. But then a little thing called the Emmy nominations happened, and we had too many thoughts to be contained by our beloved Twitter rants, so we took to impromptuly taping our discussion again.
Naturally, we focused mostly on the shocking names that appeared on ballots-- as well as the sad snubs that didn't. We both agreed that Parks and Recreation deserved a series nominee, and we both lamented Hollywood trying to rewrite history by sticking Ashley Judd for Missing in the Miniseries or Movie category. And of course, no Emmy talk would be complete without taking it a bit personally that John Noble was nowhere to be found.
But that's only the tip of the iceberg. So sit back and see if you agree with our take on the 2012 Emmys nominations.
