"Homeland season two starts with Carrie and Brody separated; Watch now!"

When Homeland returns to Showtime for season two at the end of the month, things do sure look different for former CIA Carrie (Claire Danes) and Sergeant Brody (Damian Lewis). Starting months after the first season finale left off, Carrie has recovered nicely from her shock therapy, but she has not regained her government employment. In fact, Rules of Engagement is coming to syndication a bit early, though, starting right now... [MORE

When the crew of a U.S. submarine refuses to blindly obey an order, its Captain smelling corruption, they become fugitives and decide to take over a nearby island, threatening their own government which mere minutes ago it was their duty to serve. While Ryan certainly sets up a rich character drama full of complications to come, the key focus of the pilot episode is the fact that the crew aboard the submarine chooses to ignore their big boss in favor of their immediate, on ship, one. Once again, Ryan draws a deep line in the sand with his show, spotlighting a brave action against authority... [MORE]
