From LA Examiner: 'Raising Hope' Premiere Photos; 'Awkward' S3 Talk; 'Made in Jersey', 'Fringe', and 'The Good Wife' Advance Reviews...

Apologies if this seems like hit-whoring, but Examiner has some dumb and severely limiting new rule about slideshows limiting photos to only 15 so we couldn't simply update our Raising Hope third season premiere review/photo article. In fact, get ready to see a lot of "Part 1" and "Part 2" photo articles from us! After all, we would have been remiss not to present to you these fun and hilarious new promotional photos from "Not Indecent, But Not Quite Decent Enough Proposal" at all. So here you go! ... In two short season, Awkward has already come along way. Its characters—both the ones in high school and the ones just with lingering high school mentalities—have been challenged to grow and mature, and we have seen great strides be taken, from Jenna’s (Ashley Rickards) “choosing a side,” so to speak, to Lacey (Nikki DeLoach) owning up to the carefrontation letter, and especially Aunt Ally’s (Barret Swatek) wedding. What could possibly be next!? ... [MORE]

We asked the cast of Awkward to weigh in on their hopes and dreams for season three of the MTV high school comedy. But while talking in wild, broad strokes is fun, we really wanted the deep answers. So we caught up with series creator Lauren Iungerich to talk about how she crafted the second season finale (including how long it was in the works for-- Spoiler Alert-- Matty (Beau Mirchoff) to be Jenna's (Ashley Rickards) choice) and what to expect in season three based on the repercussions from the events we just saw go down... "Fringe season 5 starts with a search for Olivia, sets up a "miserable world"

The fifth and final season premiere of FOX' Fringe is about to be upon us, and this time around, Peter (Joshua Jackson), Walter (John Noble), and Astrid (Jasika Nicole) are fighting for the future, as well as to find Olivia (Anna Torv) again. And it turns out, they're going to need all of the help they can get-- Olivia and Peter's now adult daughter Etta (Georgina Haig) may not be enough-- because the future they have found themselves in when "Transilience Thought Unified Model-11," the fifth season premiere, starts is "quite miserable.... "The Good Wife season four premiere introduces Kalinda's ex & arrests Zach"

Elevators in The Good Wife seem to get all the action, and the fourth season premiere certainly ups the ante when Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) finally comes face-to-face with her ex (Marc Warren). We're not going to say anything more about that because we know it's something most of you have been waiting all summer for, and we don't want to ruin the viewing experience by spilling too many beans. Whether or not their action movie level combat approach with each other is foreplay may be up to some interpretation anyway. But thankfully, the elevator is far from the only place seeing action this season... [MORE]
