When you're a teenager, all of your relationship problems seem like the biggest things in the world. You don't need any heightened situations or stakes to feel the drama with every pore of your being. When I was growing up, I had the old WB to deliver series centered on such storytelling. I never felt the need to gravitate towards sci-fi or otherwise supernatural shows because the real life issues were enough to intrigue. Perhaps that is why I have attached so quickly and so deeply to The CW's The Carrie Diaries now: one part period nostalgia and one part personal throwback, it delivers emotional moments week in and week out and instantly transports the audience into the mindset when boys and grades and summer plans really were all that mattered.
And now it's time for The Carrie Diaries' season finale, which executive producer Amy B. Harris has promised will be "explosive," and I want to help ensure the show truly goes out with a bang on all fronts-- not just in the storytelling. All season long the cast and crew has enticed fans to tune in live to partake in live-Tweeting discussions, but now we're throwing a little extra incentive into the mix by offering up a The Carrie Diaries prize pack for one lucky fan during the east coast airing and the west coast airing.
